Performing Company Program

Dancers entering kindergarten – twelfth grade in September 2023 are invited to join the DDMA Performing Company. Company auditions will take place on Tuesday, June 20th. For more information on joining, please email us duvaldanceandmusic@gmail.com or call 781-545-3100 with any questions you may have.

The DDMA Performing Company program is for serious and highly motivated dancers who wish to explore the excitement of competition. Students are accepted into the program by audition or invitation only. Company students are expected to be motivated to learn, and committed to their dance classes. Students will compete in a minimum of two dance regional competitions and up to a maximum of four competitions each season.

My daughter Katie enjoyed the best dance experience during her years at Duval Dance and Music Academy.  As a member of the senior dance team she grew not only as a dancer but as an individual. Katie learned great organizational skills allowing herself not only to participate in dance, but to be able to continue to play a sport, be vice-president of Key Club, and a National Honor Society student. All the instructors and staff at the Duval Dance and Music Academy have a great passion for dance, and this is passed on to their students. I can’t say enough about what a rewarding and positive experience this has been for Katie.

Thank you so much for yet another amazing year of dance for my girls , Katie and Emma. I have been watching so many of my friends and families children grow up at your studio and advance in their abilities every year. Being part of the Duval Dance and Music Academy family is such a wonderful experience for all of us. They eagerly attend all classes weekly till June and by then they have fine tuned their routines, put on their beautiful costumes and perform in the incredible end of the year recitals. The caliber of these recitals is top notch and an incredible joy to watch.

Emma has had a wonderful experience at DDMA. Her passion for dancing has flourished. Emma is always eager to get to class/team/rehearsal and returns home each time more enthusiastic to share what she has learned. She has unlocked her confidence as a dancer that has carried far beyond the dance floor. Emma’s experience with dance and competitive team, in particular, have helped her to be a more disciplined student in general and manage her time efficiently. I am always confident that Emma’s dances and costumes will be tasteful and age appropriate. The respectful and supportive environment at DDMA have given Emma a solid foundation as a young dancer while still having fun.
