The Andréa Rizzo Foundation’s “Dréa’s Dream” provides pediatric a dance therapy program for children with cancer and special needs in hospitals and public schools nationwide. Through their “Dance Across America” fundraising initiative, the Foundation aspires to bring dancers together to blend their love of dance and compassion. Dancers of all ages in all parts of the country make a difference in the lives of fragile children by doing what they love best…dancing! That is exactly what Duval Dance and Music Academy is planning to do for this worthy cause!
Here’s how you can help. We have different ways you can help, items for our Raffle Baskets, Sponsorship and Silent Auction items.
RAFFLE BASKETS:
We are making themed baskets to be used as raffle items. If you would like to contribute to this great cause, listed below are some of our “themes” for the baskets and some suggestions of what we could use to put in the baskets. If you have any other ideas, we are always open to suggestions. All basket items need to be in new condition and dropped off at the front desk by April 16th. Names of contributers will be acknowledged in the performance program. Raffle Baskets will be on display at the dance studio before the benefit.
BASKET THEME / ITEMS TO GO IN BASKETS
BARBEQUE: barbeque tools for grill, barbeque sauce, oven mitt, paper napkins, lighter
COOKING WITH KIDS: spoon, spatula, cookie mix, cookie cutters, measuring cups/spoons, whisk
AMERICAN GIRL: 18″ doll clothes, accessories (shoes), American Girl book
ROAD TRIP BASKET: travel games, puzzle books, snacks
NAUTICAL: anything nautical (home decor)
COFFEE/TEA LOVERS: coffee cup, napkins, tea, coffee
ARTS & CRAFTS: kits, beads, coloring, markers, crayons, fun foam, etc
CHOCOLATE LOVERS: Any kind of chocolate items
CRAFT BEER LOVERS: single bottles of different craft beers, snacks
SPORTS: anything Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins
LOTTERY TREE: Any scratch tickets (not scratched yet of course)
OUTDOOR WATER/SUMMER FUN: beach towel, sand play toys, inflatables, sunscreen, bug spray
SPONSORSHIP:
For those who wish to make a monetary donation, please see the attached 501(c)(3) tax exempt status document. Tax ID# 75-3074365. Sponsorship levels – Bronze, Sliver, Gold, Platinum and Duval Platinum. Please see attached sponsorship form. All Sponsors will be listed in our performance program. Deadline for Sponsors is April 30th.
SILENT AUCTION ITEMS:
If you or your employer have a larger item that you would like to donate, please contact the front desk at 781-545-3100. (concert tickets, sporting event tickets, ect.) We welcome any and all donations!
